ToolBar icons (Projects Tab)

The Projects Tab shows all the projects you have in InBack.

New Project: This option allow you to create a new backup project. See Creating a New Project.

Change Selected Project: This option allow you to modify your backup settings. See Changing a Project.

Delete Selected Project: This option will allow you to delete your project, and optionally its backup files. See Deleting a Project.

Copy Selected Project: Instead of creating a new project you may start copying one already existent, using this option. See Copying a Project.

Preferences: InBack preferences and defaults are set in the Preferences window. See Preferences.

Execute Backup: Executes the Backup for the selected project. See Backing up Projects.

Exit: Use this option to exit InBack.

Help: Opens this help file.

ToolBar icons (Available Backups Tab)

The Available Backups Tab shows the backups already done for the selected project (Noted in the Title bar).

Restore Selected Backup: Starts the restoring of the selected backup file. See Restoring Files from a Backup. Note: If you select more than one backup file, only the last selected will be restored.

Delete Selected Backup File(s): Deletes from the disk the selected compressed backup files. Note: If you select more than one backup file, all of them will be deleted.

Check Selected Backup File(s) Integrity: Check that the selected backup can be decompressed and have no errors. Note: If you select more than one backup file, only the last selected will be checked. See Test Backup Integrity.

Upload single file to FTP: Uploads the selected file to the FTP site specified in the project (If any). (This is a Pro feature).

ToolBar icons (Backups Details Tab)

The Backups Details Tab shows the files contained in the selected backup.

Add a File to the Backup set: Adds an individual file inside the compressed backup file.

Restore Selected File(s): Starts the restoring of the selected file(s) from inside the backup. See Restoring Files from a Backup. Note: If you select more than one file from the backup, all the selected files will be restored.

Delete Selected Files(s) from Backup: Deletes the selected file(s) from the compressed backup. Note: If you select more than one file, all of them will be deleted.

Check Selected File(s) Integrity from Backup: Check that the selected files can be decompressed and have no errors. Note: If you select more than one file, all the selected ones will be checked. See Test Backup Integrity.

Find file in Backup set: Allows you to search for and select set of files inside your backups, then you can restore or delete that particular files. See Finding Files.

Special Options Under the Help Menu

Three options on the Help menu relate to the purchasing of InBack, the registering of InBack and how to receive Technical Support for InBack.

Registered users of InBack can receive technical support help by clicking on the E-mail Technical Support menu option under the Help menu. Clicking on this option will start up your MAPI e-mail program and open a blank message to InBack Technical Support. Just type in your question or comment and send your message.

To register your copy of InBack click on the Register menu option under the Help menu. You will receive an XML file with your registration data upon your purchase of InBack. Press the "Register" button and select the XML file to register your registration key.

To purchase a copy of InBack click on the Order InBack menu option under the Help menu. You will be asked if you would "like to place an order using" the "SECURE online ordering system." If you click No you should contact Huenuleufu Development to ask for alternative payment methods. If you click Yes you will be taken to a web page where you can place the order online.

Minimizing InBack

There are two ways to minimize InBack:

InBack minimizes to the icon tray, in the lower right hand corner, and not to the task bar. If you see InBack on the task bar then it is maximized already and may be in the background of another program.

Minimized Popup Menu Options

When InBack is minimized the only way you can maximize it is to select Open InBack Console from the minimized popup menu. There are two ways to bring up the minimized popup menu:

In case you want to InBack to stay minimized, use the Back to Tray option from the popup menu.

Other items on the minimized popup menu are the twenty most recent Backup Projects, Suspend Timer, and Exit InBack.

For your convenience InBack lists the twenty most recent backups that you've executed on the minimized popup menu. Simply click on the project you wish to backup and InBack will begin the backup.                

The Suspend Timer option is not available if the Remind Every setting is set to zero minutes on the General tab of the Preferences. Selecting this option, when it is available, will stop the backup reminders from occurring. When you suspend the timer on the minimized popup menu the option changes to Resume Timer. Click on Resume Timer to resume backup reminders.

Use this option to exit InBack.
